Kay Bojesen (1886-1958) is recognised as one of the most important pioneers of Danish design. Training as a silversmith at the Georg Jensen workshop he was then inspired, after the birth of his son Otto, to create wooden children’s toys. And this is where his story as one of Denmark’s most prolific artisans perhaps began. Bojesen’s toys have soul and an impish sense of humour, he brings wood to life. All his animals are incredibly playful and as such are enjoyed by both children and adults alike. You can’t help but play with them, and there lays their beauty- they bring out a bit of cheekiness in all of us.

A dear friend this little Panda Bear makes a beautiful gift to welcome a new little one into the world. The Panda bear was inspired by two pandas who moved into Copenhagen Zoo in 2019. A gorgeous, if somewhat cheeky, addition to your little one’s space, family living area or atop a bookshelf in your study.
